With “Beautiful & Harsh Poetry”, Dee Bomb wanted to let it be known that this is his foot in the door demanding his respect as an emcee in the underground scene. Not only does he display a golden era lyrical wordplay, he also talks about the struggles he faces in life growing up in Minneapolis, MN from fatherhood, struggle with employment, acceptance in the MN local scene, as well as his views on how the government display the black community. The album is entirely produced by Thawed Out Productions (Jim Jones, Bizzy Bone, Layzie Bone) as well a feature from St. Paul’s own Da Labratz.
